Do or Don't: Bows

When I first think of bows all I can think of is when parents throw a bow on their babies. Other than for the cuteness value, they also do it because let's face it sometimes it's really hard to tell if a baby is a girl or boy. But I don't think bows are only for babies! Whenever I think my outfit needs a touch of"girly" I like to add a bow and I think it's complete!

Here are some of my "bow loves"

Bows and wedges? I  see nothing wrong with this picture!

Another pair of my favorites: backless dresses and bows.

This simple rhinestone bow bracelet is adorable from Windsor

I've been loving this new trend of making a bow in you hair, out of your own hair!
Here's a great tutorial so you can do it yourself!
But I also swear by American Apparel's bow hair clips. They sell them in every color imaginable.

This one's just for fun, Miss Mel and I are suckers for guys in bow ties and suspenders, but really what girl isn't?

This mint bow ring is a must have, as in my birthday is coming up and I must have it!
*hint hint to any of my friends*

So what do you guys think? Are bows a do or don't? Let us know!

Do or Don't: High Low

So another fashion trend showing up more and more is the high low trend. Whether it's a skirt, shirt or even a blouse the concept is still the same, high hem in the front and low hem in the back.

I love this skirt!
Found this dress at The Spotted Moth

I can safely speak for Miss Mel when I say she definitely thinks they are a do. I mean look at that awesome dress she's  wearing!
Our friend, Ellen, and Miss Mel!

So what do you guys think? Is the high low trend a do or don't?
I would have say they're definitely a do! I think the shape looks good on any body style and let's face it "one size fits all" rarely applies to clothes. If you haven't check out any out you should!

Modcloth Love

So Miss Mel and I have referred to the online clothing store ModCloth before but I just want you guys to really understand just how awesome and beautiful it is! They started out as one girl selling vintage clothes she found, from thrift stores, from her dorm room and now they're this huge online clothing store. Basically every thrifter's dream right?

I'm beyond obsesses with their swimsuit styles!

They have the cutest dresses!
This would be perfect for a dinner date!

Did someone say floral wedges?

The clothes they sell now always have a very vintage or retro look to them to keep to their roots. Miss Mel and I just can't get enough of ModCloth and hope you love them just as much!
