Best Dressed List: The Oscars

Did you watch the 84th Oscars this past Sunday? I watched and enjoyed every moment of it! One of my favorite aspects of watching award shows is checking out what everyone is wearing! These are my best dressed picks of the night!

Selena Gomez in Dolce & Gabbana at the Vanity Fair after party.
I just love the complexity of the lace and the sequins.  She looks like a dream!

Nina Dobrev in J. Mendel at the Elton John AIDS Foundation after party.
I am dying over the deep v-neck and collarbone cutouts, so sexy!
Elizabeth Banks in a Chadwick Bell gown at the Vanity Fair after party. we
I am OBSESSED with this gown. Where can I buy it and where can I wear it?
The polka-dots, the color, the belt and the feathers, oh, the feathers.
It sounds so crazy but it works!

Gwyneth Paltrow in Tom Ford
Two words:the cape. I love it!
Michelle Williams in Louis Vuitton
Check out Michelle, rocking the peplum (there's a post coming soon on this topic)!
She is deffinitly one of my style icons, never afraid to try a bold color or new style.
She looks gorgeous.
Emma Stone in Giambattista Valli Haute Couture
Emma Stone proves time and time again that redheads can and should wear red!
Also, that bow!
Jessica Chastain in Alexander McQueen
I love the gold and black contrast.
The detailing seriously leaves me breathless.
Octavia Spencer in Tadashi Shoji
This dress was made for her! I'm so glad she won!

What were your picks of the evening?

Mad about Madewell

Madewell is a store that we don't have in Missouri *goddammit why are all the cool stores always out of reach* BUT I've recently become addicted to their online store which is just as nice!
Here are a couple of their items I would like to magically appear in my closet.
"Oooo Madewell!"
