Do or Don't: High Low

So another fashion trend showing up more and more is the high low trend. Whether it's a skirt, shirt or even a blouse the concept is still the same, high hem in the front and low hem in the back.

I love this skirt!
Found this dress at The Spotted Moth

I can safely speak for Miss Mel when I say she definitely thinks they are a do. I mean look at that awesome dress she's  wearing!
Our friend, Ellen, and Miss Mel!

So what do you guys think? Is the high low trend a do or don't?
I would have say they're definitely a do! I think the shape looks good on any body style and let's face it "one size fits all" rarely applies to clothes. If you haven't check out any out you should!

Fall Outfit Inspiration

I know, tear, tear, summer is quickly coming to an end.
Although as much I love summer, I'm always pretty excited when fall comes around because that means that I can wear my boots all-day, every day!
Therefore, I thought I would share with you some of my "fall inspirations" that I've been pinning.

Check 'em out!
Love the chambray top, thick leggings and scarf + boots!
Tights, socks and boots=my dream.
I really want that leopard cross-body bag.
Everything about this outfit is so effortless!
love this SO much
I plan on making this my fall/winter uniform.
She looks so cute!
.
I die for that leather jacket.

This girl does mixing textures right.
Chambray shirt, sequins, tailored jacket+jeans and boots=fall perfection.

What do you think? Do you have a fall uniform?
Mine definitely includes anything with my beloved pair(s) of Frye boots.
I can't help it! I'm addicted!

Do or Don't: Cut Out Dresses

So Miss Mel and I have always been dress girls but when you add a fun cut out it becomes an obsession of ours. Plus when you have a little part of skin showing it makes the dress secretly sexy and who doesn't like that? No one that's who.

We love showing off a little skin!

A little high-low action for you. I recently discovered Love Story through pinterest.

I love this long sleeved one, it reminds me of the seventies! They have a ton of cute cut out dresses but this was my fave.

Here's one from Halloween last year when Miss Mel and I were cats!

So what do you guys think? Are they a do or don't? Let us know!

Style Icon: Rachel Bilson

Miss Mel and I were totally in love with the T.V. show, "The O.C.", so this week I decided to talk about Rachel Bilson. She played the lovable Summer Roberts who had an ongoing love affair with Seth Cohen, played by Adam Brody. We basically loved Seth and Summer!

She collaborated with Steve Madden and Nicole Chavez to create the awesome shoe store "ShoeMint". Just look at those awesome shoes!

This is the infamous Seth and Summer kiss from "The O.C."
You would have had to watch the show but it's so cute!

She's  even tried her hand at being a stylist, many people call her a "fashion junkie" and I totally believe it!

We just love her! Who do you guys just love? Let us know!

The Versatile Vera!

This past weekend my home was invaded by three girls for my birthday. Once everyone had unloaded the contents of their cars I noticed an abundance of paisley in my room. Vera Bradley had taken my room hostage! I mean it honestly looked like a Vera Bradley advertisement! There were duffel bags, totes, make-up bags, wristlets, and even a glasses case! I would say we have a problem but really if you have a problem with Vera Bradley then you have a problem with me. Not that I'm threatening anyone or anything like that...
Miss Mel and I have learned after many traveling expeditions, it's one of the best travel companions. One reason would be that they offer many different sizes and shapes in their traveling collection. Another reason they're a great companion is that they're so soft! That quilted fabric doubles as a pillow if you need a quick power nap at the airport.
Along with duffels, wristlets and handbags Vera Bradley offers a ton of cute office items and accessories. This case is a great way to jazz up your iPad along with these adorbs laptop skins. If organizing your desk is your next task look no further, they make organization pretty and colorful.

Vera Bradley covers any need you could possibly have except actual clothing but hey they've started with swimsuit cover-ups, give them a little time and they'll get there. I know I would purchase a pair of Paisley socks in a heart beat! The duffel bag was on my wish list and Miss Mel gifted me that this christmas, now I've got my heart set on the Mini Hipster! What's on your Vera wishlist? Let us know!
