New Year-New Blog

Hello everyone! Since it's a new year and all, we've decided to attempt to create a blog that we could both contribute to together. We know this is going to work because we've been bestest buddies for 21 years (pause for the applause).  We figured we could always share our words of wisdom and fashion advice in hopes of getting others to share and contribute to our ideas as well!

We thought an appropriate first post would be to share about what we did for New Years Eve.

We found ourselves at a country-western bar. Yes, that's right, a country-western bar. They played two types of music there; country AND western. Har Har.

Even though we knew we would get some evil stares from fellow bar-goers, we decided to wear our party dresses that we had purchased before making these plans. Yes, we know, that's what we get for planning our outfits before the actual event. So we found ourselves, amongst jeans, flannel shirts, cowboy hats and sweaters we would wear on a weekday, in velvet, sequined, lace dresses. We just couldn't help ourselves. It was New Years Eve after all!

All-in-all, we ended up having a glorious time and even learned a couple of line dances!
